Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Bookmark Dashboard (“the Extension”) is designed to help users view and manage their Chrome bookmarks in a visual dashboard.

We do not require account registration and do not intentionally collect personal identity information.

2. Data Access and Usage

The Extension requests the following Chrome permission:

  • bookmarks: used only to read, create, edit, move, reorder, and delete bookmarks/folders when initiated by the user.

The Extension may also request website favicon images (for display only), for example via Google favicon service URLs.

3. Data Storage

The Extension stores limited UI preferences locally in the browser (for example, card column layout positions) to improve user experience.

We do not upload these UI preferences to our servers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user bookmark data with third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.

5. Remote Code

The Extension does not execute remote JavaScript or remote WASM code. Core functionality is packaged within the extension.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to minimize data access and keep data handling limited to core bookmark management features.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted in this file with a revised “Last updated” date.
